These presets were inspired by Tom's excellent "puzzle photos" mask tutorial at State Of Entropy:
http://www.geocities.com/SoHo/Studios/2046/

The texture file was created using his mask as a guide for the "puzzle" shape.

Using the Presets - TIPS:
------------------------

These presets were created to work on whole images, partial selections and text selections. For DARK images, selections or text use the "dark" presets - ie:

* amr jigsaw dark.q9q (added 8/8/98)
* amr jigsaw deep dark.q9q (added 8/8/98)
* amr jigsaw inverted dark.q9q (added 8/8/98)

To increase the size of the puzzle pieces, move the Blade Pro texture zoom slider setting upwards from the preset setting of 55. Unfortunately, this may bring about a degredation of the puzzle pieces "sharpness" on settings over 60.

To overcome this to an extent, I've also resized the original texture file for both normal and dark presets. The texture file now comes in the following sizes:

* amr jigsaw.bmp
* amr jigsaw medium.bmp (added 8/8/98)
* amr jigsaw large.bmp (added 8/8/98)
* amr jigsaw jumbo.bmp (added 8/8/98)

Please note that this is not a prefect solution as it adds unwanted artifacts to some images. Experiment!

Blade Pro files:
---------------

This preset pack includes the following files:

* amr jigsaw.q9q - a typical jigsaw puzzle effect.
* amr jigsaw dark.q9q - for use on dark images or text.
* amr jigsaw deep.q9q - a more pronounced jigsaw puzzle effect.
* amr jigsaw deep dark.q9q - for use on dark images or text.
* amr jigsaw inverted.q9q - another variation with raised edges to the puzzle pieces.
* amr jigsaw inverted dark.q9q - for use on dark images or text.
* amr blank.bmp - the blank environment bitmap file.
* amr blank dark.bmp - the blank environment bitmap file for use on dark images or text.
* amr jigsaw.bmp - the texture bitmap file that creates the jigsaw puzzle bevel.
* amr jigsaw dark.bmp - the texture bitmap file for use on dark images or text.

NOTE: The amr jigsaw.bmp texture files also come in medium, large and jumbo sizes. The original works best IMHO, but YMMV - I've only provided them to cover all contingencies.
